David Hevia


He began his musical studies at  Conservatory of Music in Oviedo, with his father as a teacher. He gets the top grade violin diploma with the highest academy qualification. At the same time, he takes master classes from maestros as, Boris Garlitsky, Olga Vilkomiaskaya, Rainer Sonne and Ilya Grubert

He continues his postgraduate studies  with the eminent  teacher Keiko Wataya at Conservatorium in Amsterdam  which he completes his musical formation with chamber music  and several orchestras, taking master classes from concertmaster of the Concertgebow Orchestra,  Alexander Kerr.

He was admited at “Queen Sofia School” in Madrid in 2005, studying with Rainer Schmidt, member of” Hagen Quartet” and his assistant Anna Baget. Deeply comited with chamber music performance he has been a memember of chamber groups under Marta Gulyas teachings.


He has been member of youth  orchestra like JOSCO, JOSPA, JONDE performing as a soloist in some of them,  by conductors as Leon Spirer, Fabio Biondi,  Enrique Garcia Asensio and Amayak Durgaryan. .He has been invitaded of “Utopia Ensemble” in Vasc Country. He has performed many chamber music concerts in Spain and other countries.

He performed as soloist in” Principe Felipe Auditorium”along with the “Young Camerata Philharmonic” directed by Omar Majbour

In 2004 he won the first prize in Xátiva competition. He has performance with the pianist Noel Menendez and Olga Seamoushina contined his career at    Oviedo Philharmonic Society, also in summer cycles at Archaeological Museum of the same city, in the monastery of San Salvador de  Valdedios, in addition to other scenarios of Principado de Asturias. At the XXV anniversary of the International Music Course in Llanes(2012), he had performed along with the pianist Olga Semoushina the doble concerto of violin and piano in D minor by  F. Mendelssohnn together with the Chamber Orchestra of the course directed by Quiroga Quartet..



He is currently teacher at the “International Music Course of Llanes” and also he is teaching in “Profesional Conservatory of Music and Dance” of Gijón, combining  teaching and performance artistic activities.
