Disciplines: Violin*, Viola, Cello, Baroque Cello, String Quartet or any other string ensemble, Chamber Orchestra and lectures.
You can attend the course as either a registered or unregistered student. This course is meant for students who have a college or pre-college technical level. There is no age limit. Under age students will have to attach the express written permission signed by their mother, father or legal guardian in the website´s registration form.
Each class will consist of a maximum of 10 students. Each student or Chamber Music group is entitled to 5 lessons in each discipline he/she sign up for. It is highly recommended to print the piano scores before the lessons in order to make the work of the pianists easier.
*Teacher Sergey Fatkulin will only admit students that are already on his class.
All students should indicate in their application form if they want to take part in the course´s Chamber Orchestra. The teaching staff will decide which students will take part in it, after an audition among those interested, performed on August 17th at 5pm or during the first lessons.
String Quartets and other string ensembles must bring their own scores and if possible the full score in pocket version. There will be a Prize for the best string quartet or string ensemble taking part in the Course, which consists on a free registration for the speciality on the following edition of the course. The winner will be chosen after an audition chaired by the members of the Cuarteto Quiroga on August 28th in the morning, among those previously selected by their teachers.
The teaching staff will decide which students will be admitted to the course, regardless on the registration´s order and on the teacher´s selection. Provisional lists of successful and unsuccessful applicants will be upload in our website (www.llanesmusica.com) by June 30th. Final lists will be published after the deadline for the second payment. All candidates have to do the second registration payment and the accommodation expenses payment (just in case) and send us the pertinent receipt by July 10th. Candidates not paying those fees will not be accepted to the course. If a provisional successful student does not make this second payment, his place will be given to a student on the waiting list. The final lists will be published between July 11th and 15th. The reservation or first registration fee will be reimbursed to all not admitted candidates.
There is no limit on places available for auditing students. They will be entitled to accommodation in the youth hostel as long as there are vacancies available. Conditions may be consulted in the “Fees” section.
Students will receive a diploma confirming their participation in the course on August 29th at 7 p.m in the closing ceremony that will take place in the Llanes Culture House.
