International soloist invited to play and teach in Festivals in Brasil, Japan, Spain, Finland, France, EEUU, etc. Cello Professor at Sevilla Superior Conservatory and CSKG in Madrid. He is Doctor from Indiana University (Bloomington). He has been awarded with prizes and scholarships from JJMM, Searle and Popper competitions, Fulbright, etc. He offers master classes in Holland, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Colombia, Ecuador, etc. He was co-principal at Orchestra of Castilla y Leon, cello professor at Coscyl, and chamber music teacher at Musikene. His professors were Rados Ferenc, María Macedo, Monighetti, Tsutsumi, Scholes and Janos Starker. As researcher he writes articles about Boccherini (discovery of a spurious sonata), participates in 2018 Viena’s Congress about Interpretation of Music in the 19th c., with a concert-conference about the Art of Portamento (in Servais’ Souvenir de Spa) and his article about the Mysterious Note of Bach’s 5th Suite is mentioned in the last Bärenreiter edition of the pieces. He recently recorded Apunte Español 2 for cello and orchestra by María de Pablos, works by Boccherini, Barriere and Popper with Tempo di Basso, and premieres and recordings of works written for him (Baladas’ Capricho 5 for Naxos, or Bruno Dozza’s Eurydice in Tokyo) and Bach’s Suites. He participates in research-concert group about Early Recordings organized by La Nouvelle Athénes in Paris. Next commitments include concerts with Baroque Orchestra of Sevilla, Musica Boscareccia and recitals with Beethoven works with fortepianist Laura Granero. He plays a cello by Nadotti from 1787.
